Someone please tell me how this got a T rating.

Especially with the Demon path. Someone. Please. (Needless to say, damn it Nippon Ichi, why do you have to make your games so scarce?)

Same logic as the South Park movie?

When they first took the movie before the rating board, it got an NC-17 rating. So they went back, made it something like five times worse (and three times longer) and then took it before the board again. They rated it R.

I think it really depends on who rates stuff and their world view. You can literally get two different ratings for the same material from different groups (sometimes even the same group; it can come down to how a certain thing strikes someone on a given day).

Truuuue. But still, it's amazing to see such concentrated nastiness with a T rating. And knowing that this game is so fucking hard to find because it's fucking Nippon Ichi. Another thing, this is the same company that did Disgaea, La Pucelle, Phantom Brave... silly stuff with surprisingly deep stories, and then Soul Nomad and the Soul Eaters, which spits on the silliness and is simply unpleasent.

Well, it also probably did not push two of the american "gore / nudity / swearing" trifecta buttons. All games with an M rating in the states must push any two of those buttons to get an M rating.

General unpleasentness of the subject matter probably goes over the heads of a lot of the people who rate games these days.

Also, Kaizo Mario World should have an M-rating on the grounds it would make the most pious of individuals swear like a sailor, instiagte random acts of violence against computer input devices and question their faith in all that is holy or unholy.

Translation: "WHY IS THERE A COIN BLOCK THERE!"

Yes, I've tried playing it recently. No, I don't want to play it ever again.

... hon.

YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GETTING INTO.

But yeah, while it has swearing up the ass, there's no shown gore/nudity. I mean, yeah, it's implied in the Demon path Tricia was raped and abused until her mind broke and then she committed suicide after joining your crew and her sister was trying to take care of her, but none of that was shown or outright said. It was all actions. And yeah, you save an angel just so he can see you kill his buddy, but again, no gore.
